General:
1. Video tutorials and courses are goal-oriented and may include homework tasks such as brainstorming, action planning, examining aspects of life and asking questions to clarify issues
2. The coach is not a therapist, qualified or practicing health professional or qualified or practicing legal professional
3. The student is responsible and accountable and courses provided is undertaken at the student's own risk.
4. Courses assist the student in achieving goals; not about fixing problems, or providing a counselling service
5. The coach plays a supportive role and will not write actual copy or content for the student, however, assists in the provision of skills to learn how to do so through the online courses and is available at an additional service for 1:1 tailored sessions.
6. Upon completion, there is no guarantee of results, such as successful job placement, and all advice given is considered as general advice and guidance only.
7. Discover the GAPS shall not be responsible for any physical or mental condition or circumstance caused as the direct or indirect result of or related to the coaching service in any way, including failure to achieve a goal.
8. In no event will Discover the GAPS be liable for any damages including, without limitation, those resulting from loss of profit, loss of contracts, goodwill, health or wellbeing, data, information, income, anticipated savings or business relationships, arising out of or in connection with the service, including any recommended websites for information gathering purposes.
Tasks and Homework:
9. Tasks and exercises are designed to accelerate learning, and to achieve the desired results in the courses.
10. It is the student's responsibility to commit to the course, take ownership and complete any tasks and homework assignments that may be required, prior to the next lesson and/or course.
11. Safety and well-being is the primary responsibility and it is appreciated that some tasks may not be completed at times. The online forum allows the student to complete the tasks in their own time.
Privacy:
12. To protect privacy, all student materials and details will be safeguarded.
13. Personal information will only be collected to: supply services or products (or information about); send statements and invoices; collect payments; send marketing communications.
Fees and Charges:
14. The full amount of the course is to be paid to receive access to the course.
15. Membership subscriptions incur a monthly fee and is direct debited on a monthly basis, with the option to opt-out at any time. Note: that any access will be revoked at that point.
Copyright and Intellectual Property:
16. Material and tools presented during the course is protected by copyright law to the credited party/copyright holder. It may not be distributed or copied for any commercial purpose or financial gain. Prior written consent of the copyright holder must be obtained.
17. Information and material used throughout the course is for personal use only. It may not be copied or redistributed in any form.
